General Messages: Welcome! As a Guidance Counsellor in Menihek
High School I have three main roles. They are: 1.
Academic Planning (course
selection, scheduling, registration, etc.) 2.
Post Secondary Planning
(informational, application assistance, scholarships, etc.) 3.
Personal Counselling – because
#1 and #2 are so time consuming, not a whole lot of time is left to personal
counsel. However, we are very fortunate to have a Youth Outreach Worker in
our school. She is available to assist students in some personal counselling
needs; her office is in Room 336. My goal in using this webpage
is to share information that comes through my office that may be helpful in
any of the above areas. Please check back regularly for updated information,
and if you have any questions about anything you see on here, drop by my
office to look for answers. Here’s to a great school
year... Ms. Smith |

undergraduate Commerce program at Queen's School of Business. Since the
scholarship’s inception in 1999, more than $2.5 million has been awarded to
Atlantic Canadian students whose academic excellence and community spirit set
them apart not only as scholarship recipients, but also as future
leaders.
We want
all high school students to know that the D&R Sobey Atlantic Scholarship is
within their reach. We hope that you will help spread the word by liking our Facebook page and
visiting our website for news and information about the application process,
Queen’s experience, and to engage directly with our community of current and
