January 2012 - Reading/Writing Workshop: For half a class each Friday, students in grade 8 English are going to begin their reading/writing workshop. For the month of January students are to select a book/magazine/graphic novel (etc...) of their choice to read during this time. I have a selection of novels in my class, but students are welcome to take something from home or borrow a selection from the library. Students will reading during this time and will periodically provide summaries of the selections of their choice.
